LIGHTING A LAMP – CONNECTING A BOND
As each late summer draws to a close, when the light of gratitude from Vu Lan season gently settles, the reunion lanterns of the Mid-Autumn Festival begin to glow. Though each carries its own message, both of these great festivals within the flow of Vietnamese culture bind generations together through the sacred light of family bonds, gratitude, and household harmony.

In the spirit of joy that fills the season of filial piety, on August 15, 2026, Diệu Tướng Am Hà Nội officially opened the program “Lighting the Lamp of Gratitude,” marking the beginning of the cultural journey “Light a Lamp - Bind a Bond,” spanning from Vu Lan season to the Mid-Autumn Festival.

In search of inner peace and serenity, many people have turned to the Dharma and taken up home practice. On the morning of September 5, 2022, at Chùa Minh Thành in Pleiku City, Gia Lai Province, the ceremony solemnly reenacted the ancient tradition of the Buddha's almsgiving and the Offering Ceremony to the Sangha.
