ADORNING THE HOME BUDDHA ALTAR FOR THE NEW YEAR IN HO CHI MINH CITY
The Buddhas and Bodhisattvas are symbols of enlightenment, wisdom, and boundless compassion. Worshipping Their sacred statues at home helps awaken the wisdom already within us, nurtures a heart of reverence, cultivates virtue, accumulates merit, and brings a deep sense of peace to the soul.

That is why, at the start of every year, with wholesome intentions and prayers for a prosperous and abundant year ahead, families everywhere wish to properly adorn their worship space, invite a sacred Buddha statue into their home, and hold an enshrinement ceremony — expressing heartfelt reverence while inviting merit, joy, and peace into the new year.

Diệu Tướng Am was truly delighted to accompany Ms. Thảo in adorning her worship space in Phú Thạnh Ward, Tân Phú District, Ho Chi Minh City, with sacred Buddha statues of solemn and graceful countenance, a set of five offerings, and beautifully arranged fresh flower offerings — all contributing to a more solemn and meaningful home Buddha enshrinement ceremony.

The statue of the Original Teacher Buddha, symbolizing enlightenment, clear wisdom, and purity of body and mind, is enshrined at the highest tier. The second tier honors Amitabha Buddha, representing peace and goodness and the transformation of afflictions, alongside Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva, symbolizing boundless compassion that relieves suffering and brings joy to all beings.

The set of five offerings — incense burner, flower vase, fruit plate, water cup, and a pair of candles — represents the five traditional offerings: incense, flowers, fruit, tea/water, and light. Each item was carefully selected by Diệu Tướng Am, carrying its own distinct meaning and helping to make the worship space more solemn and proper.
The Vạn Đức Cung Hoa service is the gift offered as part of the Season of Gratitude program, prepared wholeheartedly by Diệu Tướng Am down to every detail. We warmly invite you to revisit some images of this solemnly adorned worship space, featuring the fresh flower offering to the Buddha — the Season of Gratitude gift arranged by Diệu Tướng Am.
