Continuing the Living Heritage of Vietnamese Traditional Attire, Opening the Journey Toward a Peaceful and Joyful New Year

Welcoming spring 2025 through a series of spiritual cultural experiences and immersion in the nation's traditional heritage values is surely the most meaningful way to greet a new year filled with smooth fortune and peaceful happiness. Amid the joyful atmosphere of these final days of the year, Diệu Tướng Am is honored to lend its support to Vạn Thiên Y – a young startup full of passion and enthusiasm for Vietnamese culture – in reviving the flow of time and bringing engaging, accessible stories of history and culture to the wider public. Through this, we hope to preserve and further develop the art of traditional fashion in a more sustainable direction.

Join Diệu Tướng Am as we embark on the JOURNEY OF CULTIVATING PEACE series with the event CONTINUING THE LIVING HERITAGE OF VIETNAMESE TRADITIONAL ATTIRE. This is a cultural heritage preservation initiative supported by Diệu Tướng Am in collaboration with Vạn Thiên Y, taking place from 10:00 AM on January 12th through January 19th, 2024, at the Diệu Tướng Am Buddhist Cultural and Artistic Space – 382 Nam Kỳ Khởi Nghĩa, Ward 8, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City.

Enjoy the mini show “Kế Vãng Khai Lai” – recreating the historical evolution of Vietnamese traditional attire through the dynasties, from Lý, Trần, Lê, Nguyễn to the present day.*

Immerse yourself in a space celebrating culture, traditional artistic values, and the nation's beliefs and spirituality.

Try on Vietnamese traditional garments and capture beautiful photographs within the Diệu Tướng Am Buddhist Cultural and Artistic Space.

Enjoy and learn about the art of tea ceremony.

Experience the tradition of scholars writing calligraphy, showcasing the beauty of Vietnamese calligraphic art.
